We have used salmon oil in our Pawsome Grub products for a number of years, and now we’re excited to have our 100% Pure Tasmanian Salmon Oil available for you to use at home.
Whether you feed raw, cooked, wet food or kibble, salmon oil is one of the simplest ways to add valuable marine-based Omega-3s to your pet’s everyday diet.
Why is salmon oil so important?
Salmon oil is naturally rich in the long-chain Omega-3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
Dogs and cats need essential fatty acids through their diet, and supplying EPA and DHA directly from a marine source such as salmon oil means they don’t have to rely solely on converting plant-based Omega-3s into these important long-chain fatty acids.
That’s one of the reasons salmon oil has remained one of our favourite additions to the bowl for years.

How can I use it?

No complicated preparation – simply add the recommended amount to your pet’s meal.
Feeding Guide
Recommended daily amount: 1ml per 5kg of body weight.
1 full pump = 5ml
5kg – 1ml daily
10kg – 2ml daily
15kg – 3ml daily
20kg – 4ml daily
25kg – 1 full pump (5ml)
30kg – 6ml daily
35kg – 7ml daily
40kg – 8ml daily
For pets new to salmon oil, particularly those with sensitive tummies, we recommend introducing it gradually over several days until you reach the recommended daily amount.
